"This well-presented cottage is conveniently situated directly in the heart of the historic and much sought-after village of Bletchingley on the High Street being close to all amenities. The property forms part of a short, attractive terrace of whitewashed 1920s cottages facing onto the High Street from a slightly elevated position set back from the road. Internally there are a number of period character features including wood doors, cast iron gas fireplaces and exposed timber beams.

The accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, a good size reception room with fireplace and a front outlook over the High Street, which is open plan to a kitchen at the rear. From here, French doors open to the garden. A wooden staircase rises to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, both with built-in storage, and a family bathroom. Within the garden there is a useful summerhouse with power which could ideally function as a home office.

Situation
The property is located on the High Street close to the centre of the historic village of Bletchingley, which has traditional public houses, antique shops, church and a recreational ground. There are local schools including St Catherine‘s Village Primary School, the popular Hawthorns Prep School, Caterham and St Bede‘s. Nutfield Priory Health Club and Priory Farm are nearby. Well placed for local amenities, there is a choice of nearby towns with a mainline station and a good range of high street shopping including Redhill, Caterham and Oxted.

TRAIN SERVICES: Redhill (3 miles) offers fast direct and frequent services to Victoria and London Bridge in approx. 30 mins and Gatwick Airport (from Redhill) in 12 mins. The M25 (Junction 6) is particularly easy to access just over 2 miles away at Godstone.
