"A most charming and pretty, bay fronted, Victorian home, constructed with London Stock bricks, which has been the subject of a gorgeously sympathetic renovation throughout.

Set back, across a private driveway for two cars and beyond the ornate stained glass to the front door, the deceivingly spacious cottage is abundant with character of the period, including wooden floorboards and upgraded sash windows.

On those chillier evenings, you ll do well to pull yourself away from the comfort of a roaring open fire in the relaxing sitting room to the front, whilst in the warmer months, extend open the bi folding doors from the kitchen onto the patio as friends and family flit between the central dining room, kitchen and terrace. The 80ft garden backs onto a private playing field and, mainly laid to lawn, includes a shed summer house to the far end and a brick built barbeque half way along.

The kitchen itself is the most recently refurbished room in the house, having been completed in the Summer of 2024. A vast range of modern, shaker style units sit beneath quartz worktops, which include a breakfast bar perch, and contrast beautifully against the various areas of brick slip walling. A clever corner pantry offers plentiful space for storage and there is an integrated dishwash and washing machine, with space for a range cooker and American style fridge freezer. Next door, sits a downstairs WC, with a feature sink and heritage fittings.

Upstairs, between the two double bedrooms, each of which have ample room for wardrobes, lies a sumptuously refitted bathroom. Adorned with Amtico flooring underfoot, your most difficult decision, after a long day, will be whether to choose the walk in rainfall shower, or sink into the ornate freestanding bathtub. Sanitaryware here is supplied by Burlington and there is a traditional high level cistern. There is also plenty of storage for towels and linen."
