"Chinthurst Park is a quiet and very attractive cul de sac situated in a tucked away location just behind Shalford Village green but still within a short stroll of the village with its station, local shops and its two village pubs. The well proportioned and superb laid out accommodation is set out over 2 floors and on the ground floor a large entrance hall with a charming herringbone woodblock floor, which extends into the sitting room, family room and dining room, from the hall there is a door opening into a substantial front to back sitting room and dining room. In the centre of the room there is a multi fuel stove with a slate heath, while at the back of the house double opening doors lead out on to the terrace and rear garden. Across the hall at the front of the property there is a family room while overlooking the rear garden is a kitchen that is fitted out with a range of wooden fronted units and Corian work surfaces and tiled splash backs with built in De Dietrich oven and space for dishwasher and Fridge freezer. From the kitchen there is a utility room with a butler?s sink, a range of built in cupboards and space and plumbing for a washing machine and tumble drier with a door giving access to the side of the property. On the first floor there are four double bedrooms, two on the front and two on the back and bathroom and separate shower room. All in all the accommodation works extremely well but should an incoming buyer have a view toward enlarging the property this would also be possible as there is a good deal of space to one side of the house where there is currently a detached double width garage. Obviously planning permission would need to be sought but this does provide the opportunity for a significant extension, which would not affect the garden. All in all this is a superb home in a fabulous village location. Externally there is a private drive, with parking for several cars, in addition to the double garage. The rear garden, which faces due west, provides a high degree of privacy and has a large patio that runs across the rear of the property and the remainder of the garden is mainly laid to lawn with a selection of well stocked flower and shrub borders and a timber garden shed"
