Description

On the ground floor there are two good-sized reception rooms, both to the front of the house, with bay windows, The lounge also has an open fireplace. The kitchen has been fitted with a range of contemporary, white, high-gloss units. There is a multi-fuel range cooker with extractor hood over, integrated dishwasher and a wine cooler. The kitchen has views and access onto the rear garden. The floor is tiled and there are tiled splashbacks to the work surfaces as well as under pelmet lighting. The room is large enough to accommodate a family dining table. There is access to the utility area and also a re-fitted shower room. On the first floor the property offers bright and spacious accommodation with three double bedrooms, all with wardrobes. There is a good-sized family bathroom fitted with a modern white suite and fully tiled walls and flooring. A particular feature of the house is the generous-sized, mature garden plot. There is a paved patio running the width of the garden with an area of level lawn. A footpath leads to a further paved seating area and decking. The lawns are surrounded by mature shrub borders and panelled fencing providing a good degree of seclusion. To the foot of the garden is a timber office building with power and lighting, which the current owners use as an office. To the front of the house is a gravelled driveway providing ample off-road parking. Planning consent was granted in June 2013 to add a single storey rear extension creating a larger kitchen/family area and an additional reception room. Subject to a new planning application, it would appear that a double storey extension could be built creating an additional bedroom and an en-suite. Proposed plans are available to view.
