"A Hidden Gem! Taylor Hill & Bond are delighted to present to the market this four bedroom detached home in the picturesque village of Milford, located away from the road and hidden behind large double gates giving wonderful privacy and seclusion, but within easy reach of all amenities. This thoughtfully extended detached house comprises four bedrooms, three reception room, an annex and a layout that gives ample opportunity for the family to grow and entertain.Accommodation comprises on the ground floor a large open plan reception space containing the sitting room, dining room and kitchen areas; this is further supported by a separate family room which in turn opens onto the conservatory. This expanse of reception space gives flexibility to the ground floor, with the main reception area being a wonderful place to entertain. The sitting room has double doors which open out onto a decked area, a real sun trap as evidenced by the fitted electric awning. The conservatory allows the family to have the feeling of being outside all year round with doors that open out onto the decked area for these long summers' evenings, and its glass roof providing an all-weather leisure area. To the first floor are four bedrooms, three of which are large enough to accommodate a double bed, and the Master also having the benefit of a large en-suite bathroom. Accommodation is completed by the three piece family shower room. Outside the property stands in a plot approaching 1/3rd of an acre which is mainly lawn, with maturing trees and shrubs. "A major gain was in our family lifestyle, allowing us to fit school runs etc., in around the working day and seeing much more of one-another."Local AreaThe village of Milford offers numerous benefits for a family to enjoy; convenient shopping with a wide range of local shops in the village and excellent town centre shopping just minutes away in Godalming with the destination shopping centre of Guildford easily reachable by car or train. During the summer months cricket is played on the green, and a range of sporting and leisure activities are available to enjoy. Milford has the benefit of its own British Rail train station with a direct route into London, meaning you are only 50 minutes away from the City. Communication links are excellent with the easy access to the A3 either London or the South Coast or both accessible. This makes life straightforward for international travel, with London Heathrow or Gatwick not to mention Southampton Airports within reach. Local Schools With the benefit of good locals schools in both the public and state sectors including the specialist Technology School Rodborough; which according to the latest Ofsted Report (2013) rates pupil behaviour and school leadership "Outstanding". Milford does represent in our opinion a wonderful place to live for the whole family. This is a truly unique house that blends all that a growing family could need or wish for.
