"A delightful and charming Grade II listed town centre cottage dates back we believe to 1609 with later additions and alterations in the 17th Century, and as with many houses of this age has changed in appearance many times during its lifetime. The Georgian facade belies the medieval interior and of particular note is the large open fireplace which is an attractive feature in the sitting room and creates a wonderful atmosphere. Either side of the fireplace are fitted shelves and cupboards with ample storage. Exposed ceiling beams and stairs to the first floor. The kitchen/breakfast room comprises of floor and wall units with marble effect worktops and up stands. some exposed beams. Fitted oven, microwave and inset gas hob and extractor hood over. Inset sink unit and fitted dishwasher. Further worktops in the inner lobby with plumbing for washing machine and door access to the bathroom with fitted bath, sink unit and WC. To the first floor are 2 comfortable bedrooms and an en suite shower to the master. In all a pretty Grade 11 listed town centre cottage superbly presented throughout.

Situation
Castle Street is one of the most prestigious roads in Farnham with a mixture of predominately Georgian architecture, although many of the properties, including this house are much older with the later addition of a Georgian facade, creating uniformity to the street scene. Castle Street is a wide principal street which leads from the heart of the town up to the Castle and beyond to Farnham Park, which comprises of some 300 acres of parkland.
