DETAILS DESCRIPTION A 1930s well-appointed and spacious detached family home located in a highly requested lane in Lower Bourne. The property has been extended and adapted to create a generous character home.

To the ground floor there is a light and airy welcoming entrance hall with limestone flooring and under floor heating from which the home offers wonderful flexible downstairs accommodation. There is a cloakroom with W/C, separate utility room with space and plumbing for a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A door leads from the utility room to the integral double garage which has electric up and over doors. The sitting room has a wood burning stove with an exposed brick fireplace, oak flooring and sliding doors to the garden. There is a cosy snug with a feature period open fireplace, a study/family room and a gym/studio with mirrored walls. The well fitted kitchen/breakfast room is centrally located and has cream units with granite work top surfaces, two ovens, five ring gas hob, dishwasher, Butler sink with waste disposal unit and space/plumbing for an American style fridge/freezer. The limestone floor has under floor heating. The kitchen is semi open planned to the breakfast area which has doors in to the dining room with glazed French doors to the garden and terrace.

To the first floor there is a wonderfully light and airy landing which enjoys views onto the rear garden and access to the partially boarded loft space with a pull down ladder. The landing leads to five bedrooms, two of which have en suite shower rooms and there is also a spacious four piece family bathroom with under floor heating, a roll top bath, and separate shower cubicle.

Outside the private level rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with mature shrubs, and a large sun terrace. There are two garden sheds and a timber summerhouse with decking. The outbuildings have power and light.
