"Wow, what a wonderful retreat from the outside world. When you step inside and close the door you are drawn in by a warm, welcoming atmosphere and an overriding feeling that you have left the world behind. Updated in most parts, it already provides extensive accommodation for any growing family and yet presents itself with endless possibilities to extend and improve further, where required and subject to the necessary planning consents. The scene is set the moment you enter the long driveway and its deep landscaped front garden which is beautifully screened with a mixture of mature trees hedgerow and borders. The good size entrance hall has built in cupboards and we are advised by the current owners that under the carpets in the hallway and living room there is parquet flooring. Wooden double doors open onto a fabulous double aspect front to back kitchen family room, which is split into two well defined areas. The good sized family room has a front aspect and lovely parquet flooring. The fabulous kitchen has an attractive stone floor and superb rear garden views and an excellent range of modern fitted units with granite work surfaces to incorporate a breakfast bar.
