"A superbly presented 1930's three bedroom family home that has been completely modernised and extended by the current owners to offer excellent family living accommodation. The property also offers an extended kitchen, garden room, downstairs cloakroom, off-street parking for two cars and a wonderful 200ft garden.
The property is located within a popular road on the outskirts of the world famous Epsom Downs, home to 'The Derby'.
Through the vendors eyes: "My husband and I bought 151 Ruden Way in April 2003. We then spent a good year renovating the house as it needed plenty of work doing including a total re-wire, central heating installation, new windows, new bathroom, all the walls were re-plastered and every ceiling was pulled down and replaced. We also added a downstairs cloakroom, extended and fitted a new kitchen and added a conservatory/third reception room. It was certainly a project but one we feel was well worth the effort! The sunny garden is a real bonus as we are not overlooked and it stretches over 200ft, so we are spoilt for space. We added a raised decking area across the back of the house which has railings all around so is fantastic for keeping the children safe and a great entertaining space for summer barbecues.
. We initially had concerns about the railway line at the end of the garden but I can honestly say it really hasn't been a problem as it serves the end of the line at Epsom Downs station so the trains are slow and only go once an hour (and not at all on Sundays), plus it's 200ft from the house! In fact it has proven to be very handy as you can walk to the station in five minutes and the train takes you to London Victoria. We really do love this house and have put our hearts into making it a home for our family. However, as we now have our own business we are looking to move to somewhere that has the space for an office".
