"One family owner!

Built by the current owner in the 1960's this detached family dwelling occupies a prominent elevated piece of Caterham land and, subject to planning permission, could further be developed. Though saying that, the moment you walk in, you do feel a sense of space with the open entrance vestibule.

The double aspect lounge, which has striking views over Harestone Valley, leads onto a snug area where you can enjoy the long summer evenings reading into the night. If you wish, how about venturing out onto the lawn and have a much needed Pimms and lemonade? The dining room is located to the front of the property for more formal dining and enjoys views over the valley. The kitchen/breakfast room has windows looking over the pretty rear garden where you can observe the wildlife or look over your children playing.

Upstairs there are four good size bedrooms and a family bathroom where, yet again, you can enjoy truly great views to the front overlooking the valley or the pretty private garden to the rear.

Parking is not an issue with a good size drive leading up to a double garage.

What the Owner says:

Acquiring the land in the 1960's, I built this house from scratch as my occupation was a quantity surveyor and I decided to put this into practice. I believe I have created a lovely family home where I have brought up my family and enjoyed the space and stunning views this home has to offer.

Though the house has been big enough for my family, there is plenty of scope to extend and bring it into the 21st century by putting in en-suite bathrooms.

I am sure you will enjoy living here as much as I have for the past 50 years.
