Tydfil Place is a very popular tree lined street, partly because of its proximity to Roath Park itself, partly because of the excellent access to local amenities and partly due to the stylish, traditional Edwardian design of many of the properties.

Roath Park Primary School is less than half a mile away, both Wellfield Road and Albany Road with their varied amenities are around two thirds of a mile away, and there is a convenience store and a florist at the top of the road.

Whilst many of the properties in the road have been substantially improved and refurbished, Number 5 still needs that work doing, something which is reflected in the asking price. There has been some historical movement, however the present condition is supported by a structural engineers report. Furthermore, the property is presently let on a room by room basis, so there would need to be some changes to turn this back into a family residence.
