Property Description Guide Price £450,000 £475,000. This well presented detached house in a desirable residential area is a fabulous family home and is in the perfect position for those families with children at the popular Millfield School, which is just a short walk away. The house is set back from the road and is approached via a sweeping tree lined drive.

You enter the house through a double glazed door into a porch area that has space each side for boot storage and coats. This then leads to the part panelled hall complete with a dado rail. This runs down the centre of the property to the kitchen on one side, the dining room on the other and a large built in hall cupboard at the end. The light and bright south facing living room has a square bay window which looks out to the front garden. It also has a feature fireplace with a marble hearth and a gas living flame remote controlled woodburner. An archway then links the living room to the dining room which in turn has access through sliding patio doors to the large conservatory that runs the length of the house. The conservatory is flooded with light and has underfloor heating with sliding doors that lead out to the pretty rear garden.

This room has a separate sink and access out to the conservatory. Throughout the ground floor is quality wood effect laminate flooring. Completing the ground floor is the downstairs cloakroom.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms. They are all fitted with quality carpets. The main bedroom has a feature wall, is south facing and looks out over the front garden. Location Grangefields is a popular development made up of mainly detached homes and sits opposite Millfield School. Sitting at the end of the Polden Hills, with views of Glastonbury Tor and the Mendip Hills, Street is perfectly situated to explore the surrounding countryside whilst enjoying all of the sites and facilities that the village has to offer. Street is the birthplace of Clarks shoes, whose story began almost 200 years ago, when brothers, Cyrus and James Clark, started making slippers from sheepskin offcuts. Clarks grew into an international company, renowned for quality and innovation. Although the factory has long gone, Street is still home to Clarks HQ, and many of the surrounding buildings and terraces built for the workers, such as Wilfrid Road, themselves attract visitors, for their architectural qualities. From manufacturing to retail, on the site of the old Clarks factory stands one of Somerset s premier tourist attractions, Clarks Village outlet shopping centre, the first purpose built factory outlet in the UK. Along the High Street you will find many independent shops and caf s, as well as a selection of well known brands. As you walk east along the High Street you will find Greenbank Swimming Pool, a Grade II listed pool that was bequeathed by Alice Clark to Street in 1937. Merriman Park, is just a short stroll from western end of the High Street. Street also has a number of churches, the oldest being the Anglican Parish Church of The Holy Trinity, a Grade I listed building which dates from the 14th century. Street is surrounded by a rich variety of towns, each with their own distinct character, such the neighbouring town of Glastonbury, renowned for its spirituality, or the historic cathedral city of Wells. Berrys Coaches run a daily "superfast" service to and from London and the nearest mainline train stations are at Castle Cary and Bridgwater. There is also a bus service to Bath and Bristol.
