"A charming period cottage situated in a desirable village at the foot of the Quantock Hills. Beautiful gardens and off road parking.

A delightful detached cottage situated in a picturesque location on the edge of the popular village of Spaxton. This stone built period propety has been beautifully maintained and sympathically updated by the current owners, over the last 16 years. The Nook benefits from charming features and includes oak latch doors, oak staircases, tiled and oak floors, oak beams to ceilings and pretty dormer windows, along with a modern kitchen and beautifully fitted bathrooms.

The spacious and flexible accommodation is arranged over two floors and briefly comprises; an entrance door opens into a welcoming hallway with staircase rising to the first floor and doors opening into the kitchen on your right and the sitting room on your left. The modern kitchen is beautifully fitted with a range of high gloss self closing wall, base and drawer units, with Silestone worktops over and complimentary brick effect tiling. The kitchen includes a range of built in appliances to include; double oven, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Leading off the kitchen is a useful utility and door opening out to the rear garden. Returning to the hallway and into the double aspect sitting room with an attractive fireplace housing a wood burner. The sitting room further leads into the lounge diner with an additional staircase and French doors opening out to the garden.

On the first floor there are three good size bedrooms; two of which benefit from built in wardrobes and the principal bedroom has a lovely ensuite bathroom. A further family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Outside, the pretty cottage gardens are a particular feature of the property. Landscaped with a variety of shrubs and trees, which offer a good degree of privacy and seclusion. There is a covered seating area and patio, both of which provide a perfect space for outside dining and entertaining. Pathways meander through the garden and lead to a garden store and shed. A rear gate opens to an open area which provides off road parking and is accesssed via a shared lane. The front garden is laid to lawn with herbaceous borders and interspersed with a variety of trees.

An early viewing is strongly recommended to fully appreciate this charming village cottage.
