"An extended 1930's end of terrace family home situated towards the Cricket Club end of this popular no through road. With all the character you would expect from a 1930's property, the ground floor is presented with a front porch, entrance hall, a bayed open plan through lounge, an extended kitchen/breakfast room, rear lobby and WC on the ground floor. Upstairs includes three double bedrooms, a modern bathroom and a small study. The rear garden is mostly lawned with garage and off road parking accessed from a private access lane from Somerdale Avenue. The front garden is paved with a small vegetable bed. Bloomfield Rise is a great location on the fringe of the city. It offers a tranquil setting with great links to the city centre but in a peaceful location. Bloomfield Rise was initially intended to join Bloomfield Drive but its construction was interrupted by the 2nd World War. Consequently, Hampset Cricket Club now occupies the space in between Bloomfield Rise and Bloomfield Drive making for both a pleasant and quiet outlook.
