"This Grade II Listed first floor apartment has been tastefully presented by the current owner to meet modern day requirements, yet incorporating the original character features expected of such an historic building. From the street a communal hall has stairs to the first floor where a private front door leads to an inner hall. From here access is given to each of the rooms including a spacious reception room with a central marble fireplace and flanking cabinets set within recesses to each side. A modern solid oak floor contrasts with the period cornicing to the high ceiling in both this room and the bedroom. To one wall is a contemporary fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including ceramic hob, hood and oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The attractive gloss finished cabinets are complemented by light granite tops and up stands. Two deep sash windows with working shutters face southwards to the front allowing maximum light to fill the room.
