Situation

Jackfield is a small, long established village style community pleasantly situated in the Severn Gorge on the southern bank of the River Severn. It is an area steeped in the history of the Industrial Revolution and is located a little over one mile east of the renowned and historic township of Ironbridge which is now a World Heritage Site.  It is some six miles south of Telford town centre with its wide range of recreational and shopping facilities, including the New Southwater development, the M54 motorway and the town’s central railway station.

The Woodlands is an architecturally designed, with a Georgian influence prestigious gated development.

The property

Is beautifully presented and situated over two floors with the ground floor comprising an L shaped living/dining area which has a lovely light and airy feel with double opening doors leading to a Juliette style balcony with outlook over the development, sash windows, staircase ascending to the first floor, access to bedroom and kitchen.  The bedroom has the benefit of an en-suite shower room.  The kitchen has a range of high gloss base and wall units, built-in oven and hob with extractor hood over.

On the first floor there is a small landing area with access to the master bedroom and bathroom/wc.  The master bedroom has sash windows.  The bathroom/wc has a white suite comprising the usual facilities with the benefit of having a shower over the bath.

How to get there – from Ironbridge take the B4373 road towards Broseley; after passing over the Free Bridge turn left into Coalford and continue onto Lloyds Head, bear right continuing on Lloyds Head and turn right onto Calcutts Road - The Woodlands development is on the left hand side indicated by a Nick Tart for sale board.

Tenure – we are advised the property is Leasehold which was originally 125 years with 118 years remaining (2016).  We are advised there is a ground rent payable currently £250 per annum and a service charge payable currently £715 every 6 months.

Services – we are advised all mains services are connected.
