Situation
Coalport is a small village community situated on the outer southern edge of Telford in a pleasant semi rural environment providing many walking cycling routes through woodlands and adjoining the River Severn into Ironbridge. It is located approximately five miles due south from the Telford town centre. Which includes a railway station and good access on to the M54 motorway. The area is renowned for its historical connections and its home to the Coalport China museum which forms part of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums complex and is set within a world heritage site and just under two miles east of the historic township of Ironbridge.
