  • A rare opportunity
  • Stunning views over river to local beauty spot
  • Spacious accommodation and further potential
  • Ancient Castle and gardens just around the corner
  • Shops and amenities close by
  • Double garage and parking
  • A prime location

Built during the early 1970s here is one of the rare opportunities to acquire a relatively modern town house in a prime position. Just around the corner from Ludlow's ancient Castle and Castle gardens, the house nestles just off a quiet lane and has stunning views across the adjoining small fields and the meandering River Teme to the local beauty spot of Whitcliffe Common and the Bread Walk.

The split level house presently offers a good amount of spacious and flexible accommodation and also has enormous potential to create more rooms if required. There is a massive attic space running the full width of the house with windows at both ends and a high ceiling, which could easily accommodate more rooms if required and some proposed plans are available for inspection. Any alterations would need to comply with planning regulations.

From lane level the accommodation presently includes the hall, kitchen, dining room, three bedrooms, bathroom and access into the attic. Stairs lead down to the accommodation at garden level. This includes a bright and spacious sitting room with glazed doors opening out on to the terrace and a large basement, which is divided into two rooms, which again could be made into further accommodation.

There are many options available to reconfigure the existing accommodation to suit a buyers own personal requirements. Most of the principal windows over look the gardens and enjoy the spectacular views. Replacement double glazed windows have been fitted and there is gas central heating throughout.

The gardens are a very special feature. South westerly facing, advantage is taken of all the daytime sunshine and again from the garden there are probably some of the best views in Ludlow. There is a large paved terrace, which is private and secluded and an extensive lawn descending down to the old town wall. There are various flower beds and the lawn is interspersed with a variety of trees.

From the lane double vehicular entrance gates open onto the drive, which leads around to parking space for several vehicles and to the double garage with an electrically operated front door.

The property is close to the riverside and country walks over Dinham Bridge and just around the corner is the Castle, Castle gardens and shops and amenities in the historic town centre. Ludlow has become famous for its all year round festivals and has an excellent reputation for its fine eateries and local inns.

NB. Viewers should be aware that the bottom of the garden is not fenced and drops down to the drive below.
