The Fold was converted from two original cottages into this fine stone built family house during the 1960's. It stands, tucked away well off the road, in its own private level enclosed garden.

It is only a few minutes walk from all the amenities within the village which include a shop, post office, garage store, a butcher shop, a primary school, a church and a railway station on the 'Heart of Wales' line, linking Swansea to Crewe. There is a direct line backwards and forwards to the county town of Shrewsbury.

Although the house is presently very comfortable there is potential for further improvements if required. A large entrance porch with exposed stone walls leads into the dining room which is partly open plan to the kitchen. Off an inner lobby is a useful store cupboard and a walk-in pantry complete with cold slab and shelving. There is a utility area with plumbing for a washing machine which leads into the ground floor fully tiled wet room which has an electric shower, wash hand basin and WC. From here there is also a door to outside.

The spacious sitting room is particularly light having windows at either end. A focal point is the stone open fireplace and there is an arched recess with shelves as well as a window seat. Off the sitting room is a splendid conservatory with doors at either end and it is glazed on three sides. It includes an air conditioning unit and fitted blinds and there are views over the garden.

Stairs rise to the split level first floor landing. Two double bedrooms have windows to the front and both have fitted wardrobes. One has a large walk-in cupboard which has potential for an en-suite to be created. There are two further single bedrooms again both with built-in wardrobes. The main bathroom has a white suite of bath, wash hand basin and WC.

The Fold sits in level gardens. There is a stone driveway, suitable for parking several vehicles, which leads up to a spacious detached garage and workshop with electricity and a courtesy door into the rear garden. The level side lawn is enclosed and at the rear is a courtyard. There is also an outside boiler room.

    Tenure: Freehold

Services: Mains water, mains electricity and mains drainage. Oil central heating. Council Tax Band D.
