"Now we all know that we want to be the envy of our friends, be it our car, our designer clothes, but how about that all important crowd pleaser – a two / three bedroom detached bungalow with an indoor heated swimming pool. This pool isn’t just a therapy pool, it has given many hours of enjoyment to our vendor’s grandchildren and apparently they have already asked their grandparents to buy a new home with a swimming pool.

Now for the bungalow. The sitting room is awash with light with windows on two sides and there is a lovely gas fire for those cosy winter evenings. The modern fitted kitchen is open planned into the large dining room, which would be the perfect place to entertain. Not only do you have French doors opening into the garden, you also have access to the swimming pool, so this space would be perfect for a pool party.

The master bedroom has been adapted for wheelchair access and has its own en-suite and utility area, which is perfect for keeping clean washing away from the kitchen. Bedroom two is currently used as a hobby room and has borrowed light from the dining area. The loft room was converted in 1991 and would make a perfect occasional guest room.

Outside there is off road parking for 3/4 cars and a small lawned garden. In the back garden there is still ample space for either sitting in the midday sun or for your children to have kick around with a football.

My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed having the indoor pool. We have been able to swim on a daily basis all year round, which is wonderful exercise for both of us. It has also been great for the grandchildren who regularly stay with us and we’ve had peace of mind that it is safe too, as it is fully secure.

We are only selling due to a change in our circumstances, as we now need to be closer to our family. We would not have put all the expense into the swimming pool if we had known we would be moving so soon. This is a truly magnificent place to raise a family and we look forward to seeing your reaction as we welcome you into what could be your new home.
