"An extended modern five bedroom detached family home, enjoying beautiful south facing gardens and located close to the centre of the sought-after Thames side village of Lower Shiplake.

Situation
Lower Shiplake is a desirable Thames-side village offering good local amenities including a post office and general store, public house, a local butcher, garage and branch line rail station to London Paddington and Henley-on-Thames. The River Thames is a short stroll from the property with Shiplake Lock close by offering delightful Thames-side walks to both Henley and Sonning. The town centres of Henley and Reading are both within easy reach with a wide range of shopping facilities, Reading town centre of course boasting many major shopping multiples. The front garden is attractively lawned and planted. A side gate leads to a utility area at the side of the house and to the rear garden. The utility area has a garden shed of steel construction and hard-standing for wheelie bins, etc. The south facing rear garden is attractively landscaped, with lawn, York-stone patio, pergola, water feature and well stocked beds. An automated sprinkler system serves both front and rear gardens, and there are water taps and power points to both front and rear. On the roof is a solar panel that augments the domestic hot water system, and the Sky antenna.



Directions
From our offices in Hart Street proceed towards the river bridge and turn right at the traffic lights into Thameside. Follow the road along by the river towards the station and at the next traffic lights turn left into the Reading Road. After approx. 2 miles turn left at Shiplake War Memorial in to Station Road, continue down Station Road for approximately 200 yards, the property will be found on the right hand side.
