"A charming two bedroom terraced cottage with detached double garage, built at the turn of the century and retaining many of its original features. The garden is a delight being quiet and south-west facing. It has been lovingly tended to create a beautiful oasis in central Henley. EPC Rating C.
LOCAL INFORMATION
Henley on Thames is a charming and famous riverside market town within 10 miles of Reading, 35 miles of Central London and 25 miles from Heathrow. The towns offers an excellent variety of shops ranging from high-street chains to independent boutiques. There are numerous coffee shops and many restaurants offering an array of cuisines. Every summer the town hosts the world famous Royal Regatta followed by the Henley Festival and Rewind Festival. Henley is surrounded by lovely countryside, dominated by the Chiltern Hills to the north of the town. The house is close to Trinity school (OFSTED Outstanding), as well as Sacred Heart, Badgemore and Valley Road, plus Gillotts secondary school, and the Henley College. Fee paying schools include Rupert House and St Marys Prep, and there are buses to Shiplake College, The Oratory, Reading Blue Coat, Moulsford (boys), Wycombe Abbey and Queen Anne's School, Caversham

(girls).
ACCOMMODATION
The cottage's front door opens to a small lobby, which leads to the main reception areas. The living room is richly decorated and features a working open fire. The kitchen is semi-open plan to the whole area, but tucked away, providing non-intrusive storage and cooking areas. It has a large American-style fridge freezer and a breakfast bar. There is a dining area which looks out over the sliding doors to the garden. Upstairs, the master bedroom is spacious and light, with two windows to the front, plenty of built in storage and a dressing table alcove. The bathroom is modern with a shower fitted over the bath. The second bedroom is a single with a view over the garden.
OUTSIDE SPACE
The cottage's frontage is pretty with a gravel courtyard and room for potted plants. To the rear, the garden can be accessed via the separate double garage, which is on Newtown Gardens. The garage is a good size with an electric up and over door. The garden itself is a real pleasure. It has been very well cared for, with some exceptional planting. There is a decked seating area by the sliding doors to the dining area in the house and a grass section with raised beds to the sides. The garden is south west facing and so enjoys plenty of sunshine throughout the year.
