Situation Nettlebed is a popular village on the edge of the Chilterns, strategically located for Henley-on-Thames, Wallingford, Watlington and for further access to Oxford and London via the M40. The village is well known for the historic Brick Kiln, an important local landmark, which provided handmade clay bricks for many of the houses in the local area and beyond. The White Hart Hotel is a former Coaching Inn for routes across South Oxfordshire, and mile markers can still be spotted long the main road from Wallingford to Henley.
