"This is an attractive detached village centre five/six bedroom period stone farmhouse with flexible accommodation which includes a one bedroom self contained annexe, a substantial brick and stone outbuilding with potential for a number of uses, off street parking and a west facing walled garden. The origins of the property are not defined but records show that there has been a farmhouse on the site since the 17th century. This property exhibits a number of period features with a Georgian central staircase and more modern features such as a large solid Oak wood fitted kitchen with Indian slate floor and a modern ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom. The two large reception rooms to the front and entrance hall have solid wood floorings and the sitting room further benefits from a wood burning stove. To the rear of the ground floor is a cloakroom/shower room and two further reception rooms which can be used as an annexe with its own entrance and private side access to the street. To the first floor there is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, four further bedrooms and a large shower room.

Situation
Situated on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders, the sought after village of Finmere benefits from a Church of England primary school, a pub, a 14th Century church, a village hall which hosts a number of activities and a recreational ground, home to cricket and football clubs. The historic market town of Buckingham is about four and a half miles away and has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, a leisure centre and schooling including the renowned Royal Latin Grammar School and a number of primary and secondary schools. There are a variety of local independent schools in the area including Stowe School. Silverstone racing circuit, with its all year round calendar of motorsports events, including The British Grand Prix, is situated within about 11 miles. Trains to London Marylebone can be found at Bicester and to London Euston from Milton Keynes. There are easily accessible main road connections to the M1 and M40 motorways.
