"A stunning conversion of a former school, with four double bedrooms, many original character features including vaulted ceilings, exposed timbers and large windows, offering light and spacious accommodation throughout. Set in the heart of the desirable Oxfordshire village of Piddington.

This is a stunning example of a converted school adjoining the old headmaster's accommodation, recreated to provide contemporary living whilst retaining many original features.

Leading off the entrance hall the large vaulted sitting room is over 28 feet in length and open to the rafters, with an inviting cosy feel owing to the feature fireplace and exposed brick work. The open plan dining room with solid wooden flooring is ideal for family entertaining.

The kitchen is accessed via the hallway which provides a practical environment with a range of both floor and eye level units. A good sized family table is positioned at one end of the kitchen. There is ample worktop space, a double sink and electric cooker. There is access from the kitchen into the private courtyard garden to the rear.

The family room is filled with natural light and creates a cosy environment with double doors providing access into the courtyard.

A cloakroom and utility room complete the ground floor accommodation.

The main staircase leads to a galleried area overlooking the sitting room below, which is currently utilised as a relaxed seating area. This leads directly to the family bathroom, refitted to a high standard with claw foot bath and under-floor heating, the smaller of the four bedrooms and the master bedroom. This bedroom is without doubt a feature of this home with its vaulted ceiling and exposed beams.

Continuing through a second landing provides access to two further double bedrooms and the shower room. A second, spiral staircase leads to the ground floor.

The double aspect loft room provides an ideal space for a teenager or anyone wanting their own space. Further attic space is available for storage.

To the outside is a large walled courtyard with raised borders filled with herbaceous plants and matures trees providing both colour and privacy. The courtyard lends itself to hosting and entertaining both family and friends.

The front garden is mainly laid to lawn enclosed by a stone wall. A private driveway creates off road parking for at least three vehicles and provides access into the single garage.
