Situation
The market town of Abingdon is alongside the Rivers Thames and Ock. Within this vibrant town is a good selection of shops ranging from specialist boutiques through to supermarkets and within the historic town centre are many period buildings. There are also a good selection of public houses, restaurants and cafn++s and the town is noted for its schools including Abingdon School for Boys, School of St Helen and St Katherine and The European School, 1.5 miles to the east. The marina is conveniently located on the south side of the town and gives access to a particularly highly regarded section of the River Thames.
