MAPPERLEY PARK This three bedroomed detached bungalow comes to market presented beautifully and free of chain. The property has recently been lovingly renovated and now makes a lovely, well proportioned home only a short walk away from Sherwoods busy shopping parade. Sitting back from Mansfield Road behind sturdy timber gates, the house occupies a generous plot and has oodles of off road car parking and a substantial detached garage. Internally the property has a quality feel with a lovely fitted kitchen and four piece bathroom suite being recently installed along with a new gas combination boiler. The property has generous room sizes and is tastefully finished with neutral decor.

WHY SHOULD YOU VIEW?
This property is exceptionally well presented and offers flexible accommodation with bags of storage. The house provides really easy access in to town, and is only a short stroll from popular Sherwood. The property is very conveniently placed for shopping, schools, restaurants and bars and there is a choice of supermarkets within a very short drive. The property sits in a highly sought after area, and locally very good local schooling, two popular public houses, three small supermarkets, and a variety of local shops, including an outstanding local butchers. Next to our office is the award winning fine dining Indian restaurant, Masala Junction, and just around the corner The Cods Scallops on Mansfield Road takes the humble Fish & Chip supper to a whole new level. This three bedroom home has lots to offer and we think it is going to be popular!

WHAT THE CURRENT OWNERS SAY..
It has been such a pleasure to devote so much care and attention to this house that became a beautiful place to call home. It is surprising just how convenient and enjoyable living in a bungalow is being together on one floor seems to make every room more accessible so it encouraged us to spend more time together, more often.

Guests always comment on how beautifully light and airy the property was. There is loads of storage too, and the kitchen is a joy to be in. Having the luxury of both a pantry AND a utility room off the kitchen was fantastic. It keeps the kitchen easy to work and dine in, and still looks pristine.
The bedrooms are really good sizes, and the third bedroom could quite easily be a second reception instead. We used it as a craft room, but it would also make a great study too.

We found the patio and lawn to be a really sociable place and quite a suntrap. The huge garage with separate potting shed were really useful and the secondary gate on the driveway means that children and dogs are very safe in the garden.

I enjoyed strolling to a local shop to buy the newspaper or walking into Sherwood with all its shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Sometimes I would walk into the city centre or catch a bus if the weather was inclement. If you don’t want to carry your bags, driving into town is easy and I’d recommend the Victoria Shopping Centre car park as its so near.  I would like to mention our neighbours too.  They are really approachable and respectful.
