There is easy access to the A46 and A1 dual carriageway allowing fast journey times to major centres. The A46 is dual carriageway to Lincoln and Leicester (M1) also linking the A52 to Nottingham. Fast East Coast trains from Newark Northgate to London Kings Cross with journey times in just over 75 minutes. This service also goes north to York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
