of Rothbury has an excellent range of amenities including
First and Middle Schools, doctors, dentist, shops, a cinema,

restaurants. The town is a popular destination for walkers
wishing to explore the Coquet Valley and surrounding
countryside. Nearby is The National Trusts? Cragside Estate,
home of Lord Armstrong - the house is famous for being the
first house in the world to be lit by hydroelectricity.
Morpeth is approximately 15 miles from Rothbury and offers a
wider range of amenities including large supermarkets and
designer shops. There is also a mainline railway station
giving direct access to Newcastle, London Kings Cross and
Edinburgh.

From Alnwick follow the signs for Rothbury on to the A697
continue on this road and enter the town centre. Turn right
into Gravely Bank. Drive to the top of the hill then take a right
into Hillside East. Take a right hand turn into Cragside View
and as you drive down the property sits on the left hand side.
