"A substantial detached bungalow set in a slightly elevated position and with some pleasant views from the principal rooms towards Embsay Crag. Set in generous sized gardens to the front side and rear, and with a single integral garage, driveway parking and further on street parking. Now requiring modernisation but offering 2/3 bedrooms, living room with a view, and a spacious dining-kitchen looking onto the rear gardens. In Brief:- A reception hall provides a welcoming space and features an entrance vestibule for kicking off outdoor gear, and with drop down loft hatch giving access to a large roof space which could be converted to further bedrooms subject to planning approval. The living room has dual aspect windows with a pleasant outlook and with ample space for living room furniture, and a coal effect gas fire. Bedroom 1 is of good proportions with a range of mirror fronted fitted wardrobes and a great view onto Embsay Crag, Bedroom 2 which could also be used as a dining room also has dual aspect windows onto the gardens and is a large double bedroom. Bedroom 3 is a good size single, again looking onto the rear gardens; and the house bathroom incorporates a full sized bath with independent shower over, WC and wash basin. A spacious dining-kitchen has a range of base and wall units with laminate worktops over, and two windows looking onto the rear gardens, giving good natural light. With ample space for washing machine, fridges and cooking appliances and although in good condition, perhaps now requiring a refit. A door out of the kitchen leads into the integral garage which has a remote controlled door, window onto the side gardens and with pedestrian access onto the side garden / driveway. To the front of the property, an attractive and good sized garden is laid mainly to lawn with attractive perimeter borders, and with further lawn to the side and leading round to the rear lawned gardens having evergreen hedging and timber fencing to the boundaries. There is ample space to extend at the rear as well as into the roof space and whilst the property requires modernisation, it is rare to find a bungalow of such good proportions, gardens and position in this sought after village.
