"From the moment you step on to the gravel driveway to approach the carved profile front door, with gabled porch cover, you will be acutely aware that the owners of this house have created the highest quality home.
The hallway just invites you in, with its quality, square tile solid wood flooring and inset door mat across the entrance width. It will strike you here, just as it will throughout the house, that the owners have paid the utmost attention to detail. A great example; the vertical designer radiator, optimising space whilst remaining practical, and the wood stained skirting boards, doors and frames. This theme continues tastefully throughout the house.
Further along the hallway there is an excellent storage cupboard or cloakroom under the stairwell, however you will be wondering where the nearer door leads. This is the entrance to the fantastic garage style store or workshop, but we will come back to this soon enough.
You may also have noticed the 'Heat Miser' control panel on the wall too. Its clever enough to help you control your energy bills. Nothing left to chance in this house, even though it is insulated throughout, whether extension walls, loft space or under the flooring. You assumed correctly - gas central heating via a modern Worcester combi boiler and of course double glazing throughout. Check out the EPC rating, you will not be disappointed.
The first door opens to the amazing living room. Two things will hit you, the brightness from the deep bay window and the excellent designer wood burning stove, resting upon two large slate tiles in the open fireplace. A room to retire to when the wonderful south facing garden has provided too much sun for you, or when you want a cosy fire in the winter.
At the end of the hallway is the fabulous bathroom. Luxury exudes, with floor to ceiling tiling, multiple down lighters, white suite of bath, wash basin & WC, but perhaps most prominent feature, the charm of the stained glass porthole window to the rear. As if this were not enough, there are lights embedded around the window which give even more character in the evening time.
The hallway leads to the excellent kitchen, which in turn opens to the dining room in the awesome extension. Beech units provide all the storage space you need and there is ample space for all the appliances; fridge freezer, washer drier and dishwasher. The integrated hob is a high quality induction unit, with a superb stainless steel splashback rising up to the integrated extractor fan. Easy to clean for the more messy chefs out there. There is a dual oven underneath for all the other cooking duties. As you would expect by now, the flooring is also high quality slate.
Now to the dining room in the house extension. This really is an immaculate room with all the features you would hope for. Quality solid wood floor, a large double glazed window on each side, double patio doors to the amazing garden, and last but not least, the exposed wooden roof truss. This adds so much character to an already delightful room that you will likely spend much of your time here. Easily enough space for a dining table and multiple chairs, leaving enough room for an armchair, or if you want to step up market, a chaise longue.
The patio doors open up fully to the spectacular garden. The owners have created the perfect area comprising of a semi circular decking area, large enough for various styles of garden furniture, a lovely, well kept lawn, quality fencing on all sides and a paved patio area to the side. Enough space here for a table and chairs too. And just to complement the whole experience, there is even a hand built shed to the other side of the extension and space for storing children's toys and other garden paraphernalia, without encroaching on the relaxation area.
Lets have a look at the garage store, because you can access this from the patio area to the rear of the house, if you have not already come in through the hallway door, or indeed the double doors at the front of the house. This is cunning. If there is anything you need to take from the garden or bring to it, you do not need to drag it through the house. Let's keep the house pristine, just as it is now, take it through the garage store.
There is so much space here, whether you want to just store various belongings or use it as a workshop. There is light and power, plenty of sockets, and storage in the eaves. The combi boiler, fuse box and meters are all nicely tucked away in here too.
The first floor is no less enticing than the ground floor. The stained wooden skirting boards, door frames and doors continue here too. And not to be out done, the loft access door is also in keeping. The window at the rear of the landing just adds to the character.
There are two double bedrooms, both with hand built, high quality wooden wardrobes, cleverly using the available space, without being intrusive, and a single bedroom at the front. The integrated wardrobes in the master bedroom at the front, have a superb rounded end to ensure the space and ambience is optimised. Both sets of wardrobes have been designed with down lighters above the doors, just adding to the quality. Just like the hallway, high quality vertical radiators have been installed in the double bedrooms to maximise the space and create the designer home experience.
Perhaps the most stunning feature of the first floor is the en suite wet room. When you walk in, you can be forgiven for thinking you have been transported to a Mediterranean holiday destination. Not only has the interior been creatively designed, with pebble effect flooring and pebble effect mixed with the wall tiles, but the corners of the room have been rounded to ensure both double bedrooms do not feel intruded upon. Must be seen to truly appreciated, including the clever angled shower screen and wall mounted sink and WC.
So there you have it, a wonderful home to move straight in to - make sure you book reserve a pre-arranged viewing slot to avoid disappointment.
