Outside there are gardens to the front and rear along with off road parking for numerous vehicles. This versatile and characterful home will suit a wide range of buyers with its generous accommodation and close proximity to the town.Services: Mains electricity, gas, water, mains drainage.Location: North Tawton is situated amidst the rolling Devonshire countryside and within easy reach of Okehampton and Crediton, The town provides a good selection of local amenities including church, primary school, shops, post office, pubs, doctors and dentists surgeries, veterinary surgery and an active community. North Tawton is situated on the Tarka Trail and is fortunate enough to boast a variety of leisure and sporting activities including: rugby, football and cricket clubs, bowls, aerobics, yoga and badminton as well as a variety of societies including scouts, guides, youth club, drama group... Nearby is Dartmoor, with its spectacular scenery and providing many and varied opportunities for walking, riding and fishing. About 6 miles or so is the market town of Okehampton, which provides an extensive selection of local facilities, including secondary education, hospital, leisure centre and a Waitrose store. Alternatively the market town of Crediton, about 11 miles away, also provides secondary education and a further range of amenities. The A30 dual carriageway which can be accessed at either Whiddon Down or at Okehampton, provides excellent road communications, west into Cornwall or east to the Cathedral city of Exeter with its road, rail and airport connections. Directions: From Okehampton town centre proceed easterly up East Street. At second set of traffic lights turn left into Barton Road, continue to the mini roundabout and proceed straight over onto Crediton Road. Follow the road for 6 miles and at De Bathe Moor Cross turn left towards North Tawton. Proceeds to the town square and turn right onto Market Street. Continue onto Essington and 13 Essington will be found on the left hand side.
