"Having only been on the market a handful of times since being built, this fine home has been with its current owner for thirty years. It has seen through the children of the family, and now makes a nice stop gap for the grandchildren, too. Host to six bedrooms, two reception rooms, a couple of utilities, a kitchen which is roomy enough for the dining table and a remarkably spacious reception hall - this opportunity is just not to be missed. There's a particularly sunny garden, too, and with a short stroll to the prom', there's no wonder it makes for such a happy home.
Room For All and Sundry Sitting centrally to Centurion Drive, there is an enviable, open outlook to this plot and giving access to the property is a vestibule with a spot for shoes and boots, and the original stained glass and wooden door opening to the reception hall. This particular hallway is worthwhile a mention not only for its grandeur, but for the fact that it is spacious enough for several pieces of your finest furniture, and is also a secondary space for coats, brollies and sundries. With a choice of reception rooms, the property does have a certain versatility to it; to the front there is a large living room with a bay window and smart floor covering and really does enjoy a good dose of light. Over to the rear of the house is a sitting room which, again, has the smart floor covering, lovingly laid by the owner, and also enjoys its own light, provided by French doors leading to the garden. Entertaining Kitchen and Utilities The kitchen is always the hub of a real family home and this one is just that; there is a wealth of cupboard and work surface space on offer here as well as room enough for the dining table; a pretty view from the window to the garden, and a collection of integrated appliances. From the kitchen there is access to the utility room, which in turn, leads to the garden... And next door to the utility is a further room, with electrics, which is perfect for a secondary fridge, a drinks store, or, well, the choice really is yours! Back out and passed the kitchen is also the ever handy downstairs wc. From the hallway and up the wide, original staircase, access is given to the landing, almost mirroring the hallway in sizing, there is even more storage here as well as access to the bedroom quarters, not to mention a further staircase to the second floor... Bedroom Accommodation The master is found to the front, and as with the front living room, it enjoys a huge amount of light from its bay window. Here also are a set of wall to wall mirrored wardrobes and really, a room which is large enough not only for the bed, but also for a seat or two. Across the hallway is another substantial double, and next to this is the third bedroom which overlooks the garden. The fourth bedroom is found to the front and makes for a good sized children's bedroom. Servicing this level is a four piece family bathroom suite, with a corner shower and separate bath tub. Up Again Back to the original staircase, and up we go again to the second floor. There are two further rooms up here, both sizeable enough for double beds. The first you will come to enjoys a view out across the front of the property and has been used by the current family as a homework station come study come TV room, whilst the second of the two, whilst enjoying a similar view, has been used as a guest room and does have access to the loft... Even more storage! This floor albeit in perfect working order, does also carry the potential to become not only a guest room, but one with an en suite. The space is certainly here, but you may want to keep it as it is and banish the children for a spot of studying! A Sunny Disposition There is a delightful garden to the rear. There is a manageable lawned area as well as several patio spaces, and being south facing (and ensuring a good, British summer) this is a great spot for a family barbeque! With parking and again, a manageable frontage, not to mention the short walk to the prom' - this really is ticking a great deal of boxes!
