"Given the amount paid (?185,000 in '07) and the amount spent since, together with its Oxton Village location, we believe this will be a hit for those looking for a) value for money and b) somewhere that not only offers slightly larger accommodation than others around but is also very comfortable and ready to move straight into...

The right proportions And it's the pretty light blue door on the left by the way. Of course it's not always the case that with bigger accommodation comes a bigger outside but there is, as you can see from a selection of outdoor shots, larger rear yard outdoor space and very nicely presented too - along with being quite a sun trap, we understand. Appreciate the features What makes the principal rooms bigger are the lovely semi circular bay windows to both the front living room and the significantly large front bedroom. Although the hall is longer too with further under the stairs space than you can see from our photograph. Well balanced Both reception rooms are well proportioned with the front having an added focal point of a fireplace and the dining room with a pair of french doors with a view to the remodelled space outside. Although the kitchen, of course, has the best view to the rear which is south west facing and considerably private at ground level. The kitchen is bright and of what's called a 'farmhouse' style combination of units and work surfaces and for us works just right for the style of house. (The central heating boiler is located in one of those units). Roomy upstairs too Comparing room sizes, check out the size of bedroom No 3 with our floor plan below. It's a generous single for young member of the family use or a good study room. Bedroom No 2 is a pretty room and makes for a good second bedroom. Meanwhile the best of all is obviously going to be the main front bedroom with its selection of pvc windows making up a lovely bay system, together with an extra front window to the side - always guaranteeing plenty of natural light. Both doubles also have pretty, original Victorian fireplaces too. The combined bathroom stands between bedrooms No.2 and No. 3. Outdoors Back outside and you can see the raised borders and trellis for climbers add some colour whilst the split level decking creates a smart outdoor area to enjoy. Locator A couple of minutes walk up to the Village with all its facilities, so very handy indeed for the lively and very popular village centre. Good then that Normanston is just far away enough not to be disturbed by all that hustle and bustle.
