McDonald Road is at the end of Heysham Bypass and is very convenient for the new M6 Link Road, which is currently being built and is hoping to be completed in 2016. Close by there are shops, schools and a very reliable bus route. Overton and Middleton are also very close by and each of these small Villages has something to offer. Overton has an excellent school, some lovely walks, one which has a lot of History, Sambo's Grave and there is a Public House where you can relax with family and friends.In Middleton there is a Nature reserve which has fantastic walks and leads to Heysham Harbour.
