About the location Spinners Court is a modern retirement development that stands in an enviable position at the edge of Lancaster City Centre close Lancaster canal. Local transport runs close by, although the city centre itself is at the bottom of the road. Also close by is Lancaster hospital and Queen Square surgery. This location simply has it all so why not have a wander around and see for yourself. What we like This apartment is situated in an over 55's block with well maintained communal areas both inside and out. This particular apartment offers wonderful views over Lancaster Canal so you can watch the world go by. A brief description This apartment is located on the second floor of Spinners Court and can be accessed by stairs or the lift facility. Once inside you will find a generous sized hallway which has access to all the rooms. The lounge is a great size with a feature electric fireplace to the centre of the room and there is space to dine which looks out over the canal. The kitchen has a range of built in storage and appliances available. Buyers will find that the bedroom is a wonderful sized double room with fitted wardrobes for you storage needs and offers views once again over the canal. The owners have recently fitted a modern three piece shower room and there is also a handy storage cupboard available off the hall. There are communal areas to the ground floor and well maintained gardens with space to park to the outside. There is a range of built in storage available for your clothes etc and there is a double glazed window overlooking the canal. The room has been decorated in a neutral style so any type of furniture should fit right in. The owners have also recently installed a three piece shower room which has been tiled to complement. There is a walk in double shower cubicle, a hand wash basin and a low flush wc available. There is also an extractor fan built in and a heated towel rail on offer. Communal areas Located to the ground floor entrance is the communal lounge area which offers a place to catch up with friends and other residents which also has its own kitchen area to save having to go back to your apartment all the time. Residents will also have full use of the laundry room which offers both washing and drying machines. There is also a w.c which can be used and the refuse room can also be found. A guest room is available if you pre book the dates you require through the house manager who can be found from 9-5pm Monday to Friday.
Externally there are well maintained communal gardens for all the residents to enjoy and there is also parking spaces available for the residents and extra room for visitors is available. Extra information - Council Tax Band A
