"Threlfall Road is a very friendly street with a good mix of families and older folk. The current owners came to live here because it was so handy for all the local amenities but also within ten minute's walk of the beach for walking the dog. One of the main attractions of the house was the fact that there is an ensuite to the Master Bedroom, something not often found in your average older terraced house. It is a spacious house with higher ceilings for those that like that extra sense of space. It was originally a three bedroomed house but a good loft conversion, complete with staircase up to the top floor, provides an ideal retreat for a growing teenager. All the bedrooms on the first floor are equipped with fitted furniture, cutting down on the amount of furniture you may need to buy, more savings.

As mentioned earlier there is a good choice of local primary schools of different denominations as well as being within walking distance of Palatine High School, which may represent a good saving on bus fares as your children get that bit older.

It is also very handy for the train station at Blackpool South, and within easy access of Yeadon Way and onwards to the M55 for commuting to Preston and beyond. The doctors and dentists are all close by too. It is a very central location, ideal for bringing up a family.
