"Mr & Mrs Field have lived in their home for an incredible 50 years ..... WOW!!!

Since owning their home over the years Mr & Mrs Field have improved their house with the installation of double glazing and storage heating. They have built the garage, fitted kitchens and bathrooms and generally decorated the property throughout. You will see that great care and attention has been taken in all the works that have been carried out.

Naturally, many clients will want to impose their own ideas on the property and I feel this house would provide the perfect blank canvass. When walking around I found this house was immaculately clean and tidy, and most importantly had a lovely feel to it. Both the lounge and dining rooms are good sizes and the 15ft entrance hall gives off a good sense of space when you walk in from the entrance porch. A doorway from the kitchen leads to the rear garden which is beautifully kept with a lawn bordered by pretty plants and flowers. The initial patio area when you first step into the garden could well be an ideal space to add a conservatory.

There is also potential to extend to the rear or over the garage to the side to create a 4th bedroom and possible en-suite, subject to obtaining planning permission.

It was a cold November 50 years ago when we first moved into our home. No heating, no such thing as double glazing and parts of Welling existed, but only as fields. We moved away from the hustle and bustle of Catford and wanted to raise a family. It was really important that there was good schooling for our children as we naturally wanted the best for them. They went to the wonderful schools of East Wickham Infants and Juniors and finally onto Bexley Grammar. We've loved having East Wickham open space so close by and having Welling Station such a short walk away has always been useful. We have many fond memories of our time here and wish we could take our friends and neighbours with us.
