"Are you searching for a classic Victorian cottage? Or perhaps somewhere that’s only a short walk home from the station at the end of a tiring day. Well why not have both and plenty more besides.

This house has a charming welcoming look that all the best period houses have and imagine how much more welcoming it would feel to walk in the front door to be greeted by a roaring log fire ablaze in the living room fireplace. Just pour yourself a glass of your favourite tipple and sink down into a comfy sofa for the perfect end to your day.

If you are feeling more energetic, the dining area has I am reliably informed, sat eight. It is sensibly located between the living area and the kitchen which means your guests can be entertained in comfort in the living room, whilst you beaver away in the kitchen before serving up in style in the dining room.

The main bedroom is a comfortable double, with the second bedroom making a great guest bed/office or child’s bedroom.

Importantly for many the bathroom is upstairs with a nice big old fashioned cast iron bath that looks ideal for a relaxing soak.

What the Owner says:

The brilliant location was a major factor for us and has proven to be a real asset. We need the station to commute and it really couldn’t be a simpler more pleasant journey at the start and end of each day.

We first saw the house in the Winter and fell in love with its charm as soon as we walked in through the front door - there was a fire blazing away in the living room fireplace and it just felt so cosy and wonderfully cottagy.

We love gardening in the Summer. The garden feels private and gets the sun most of the day. We have a seating area for relaxing at a table and a nice calming patch of lawn
