"Lime Tree Close is one of those roads that even if you have lived in Tonbridge for years, you probably won't know where it is! To surprise you further, it is a lovely, quiet cul-de-sac in north Tonbridge and yet it is only 1 mile from the train station, making it ideal for commuting.

First impressions are everything and the pretty, well tended garden with the twisting path to the front door tells you that this owner loves the home and has paid attention to detail.

Once inside this theme continues from the well decorated rooms to the modern user friendly and well equipped kitchen. That extra special touch though, comes from things you don't see - the boiler is under 3 years old, the under floor heating in the conservatory makes it usable all year round and the remote operated blind above helps shield you from the afternoon and evening sun because the garden is on a south-westerly direction; these are things you only do if you truly love your home.

The rear garden is as manicured as the front and has been created to give that 'country cottage' feel. Sit out there with a good book and you will easily forget how close to town you really are.

I have lived here for a very long time now and have loved every minute of it. I was initially attracted to the road because it is so quiet and peaceful, yet I could get to the station for my commute to London in under 15 minutes. I don't need the station now, which is why I created my own office/studio in the back garden to work from.

I have always loved the countryside and when looking out from my conservatory, or working in my office, the garden makes me feel that I am there. I have found myself continually updating the home further over the years, so I can stay here longer. I had the conservatory built to create a separate dining room and make it easier to have family and friends round for dinner.

My dream of a home in the country is now a possibility, but I will really miss my house and my neighbours.
