"As you pull up into the spacious driveway what greets you will not disappoint, an elegant, free standing house with large grounds. However, wait until you see what's inside! Each room has been individually designed and detailed, including feature porthole windows in the dining room and lounge and double glazed throughout. The lounge is a lovely size with more than enough room for a large three piece suite. The lounge leads to the fabulous conservatory with French doors opening onto a large wrap around deck area, perfect for entertaining.

The layout could easily house two families or could be used as a granny annexe, as the downstairs study/bedroom has its own en-suite. You could share the kitchen, breakfast and utility areas or use the utility rooms as a kitchen.

As the house flows up to the first floor you get a continued sense of space. The main bedroom has stunning views overlooking the garden and the Thames estuary. Both the main and second bedrooms have wall-to-wall built-in wardrobes. In the third bedroom you are able to walk into the eaves to make either another en-suite or walk-in wardrobe. On the first floor landing there is another set of stairs leading to the second floor. Brace yourself for another highlight of the house which is the large loft room. It has an eagles nest lookout tower for panoramic views of the island.

What the Owner says:

In recent years the whole property has been overhauled, from top to bottom. Every aspect has been updated. We have added double glazed windows throughout, new kitchen units and appliances, a new central heating system, new bathroom

(including his and her sinks, bath and separate shower cubicle), wardrobes in the bedrooms, security alarms and even remote controlled garage doors. To fully enjoy the views we installed a heated conservatory and extensive wooden decking to seamlessly integrate the house and garden.
