"Crown House is a handsome Grade II listed Georgian property, located in the heart of Chipstead village. The double fronted house was originally built in 1763, with later additions, and has living accommodation arranged over three levels in addition to cellar. The house offers well proportioned rooms with high ceilings and retains much character in many of the rooms. The internal accommodation extends to over 3,600 square feet including the cellar. The property offers some scope for modernisation.

On entering the property an entrance porch with glass wall leads into a spacious central hallway which features a fireplace, built in storage cupboard and parquet flooring. Stairs lead up from the left to a half landing where there is a room currently used as home office and a separate WC. Glazed French doors lead from the hallway to a dual aspect sitting room which boasts an inglenook fireplace, three windows and a built in bookcase. From here you can access the breakfast room and kitchen, which are also reached from the main hallway. The modern dual aspect kitchen features stylish gloss soft gray/mushroom and white units with grantite work surfaces. A door leads out to the garden and driveway. Also on the ground floor is a sun room / conservatory which overlooks and leads out to the garden and a beautiful characterful dining room, which has a beamed ceiling, two windows and some painted brick walls. A small staircase leads down to the cellar which offers great storage. On the upper floors there are five bedrooms, including a master bedroom suite which features a bedroom, dressing room and adjoining en-suite bathroom. On the first floor there is one additional bedroom and a family bathroom with separate WC, on the second floor there are three bedrooms and storage into the eaves.
