"As you drive up the gently slopping drive, the view to your left hand side suddenly opens up in front of you and through the trees at the end of the garden, perfectly framing the gentle rolling countryside toward Higham. It was this view that first impressed the owners. There are three separate garden areas, all providing their own unique character from seclusion and peace and quiet, to an open expanse of lawn ideal for children to play and the family to enjoy.

In the years of the current owners occupation, there has been some great improvements including solar panels providing almost cost free heating to the water and a double garage extension to the side, ideal for parking your pride and joy.

Features are a plenty with many rooms enjoying double aspect windows, offering fantastic views and the open fireplace in the lounge, which is particularly great to curl round on a cold winters night.

Off course the saying “location, location, location” is a well used one, but most certainly apt for this property. Some of the best known schools in the area are within just a few miles such as Gads Hill, literally at the top of the road as well as Grammar Schools in Rochester and Gravesend.

What the Owner says:

It’s very difficult to put into words all the aspects of this property that have been enjoyed over the last 40 years. It has been an amazing place to bring up the family, with the countryside on our doorstep, such as Cobham Woods and Shorne Country Park and all the convenience of the town, only a few minutes away. It’s such a quiet area and the neighbours have all proved to be very helpful and friendly, with all of us looking out for each others properties, particularly when we go away.

Although there has been several improvements to the property, there is still a lot more scope for further extensions if one would require, with the large surrounding gardens, it would not encroach too much on the available space.
