"When the owners first viewed their home it was the panoramic views as they approached the entrance across the Medway Estuary which immediately grabbed their attention.

High priority for them was to find a property that was close to good schools for their children and within just a short distance from shops for that last minute family meal. Since living here it has proved to be ideal for those reasons and they have also made improvements to enhance their family home, with a re-fitted bathroom suite and re-decorating several of the rooms.

The owners travel frequently by car and the recently improved dual carriageway, picking up from the top of Hoo village and connecting to the M2 means that they are able to get onto the motorway within approx. 10 minutes.

It has certainly been a great place to live especially at the weekends, as the open countryside is nearby with plentiful country walks and nearby to the Medway Estuary for a spot of fishing.

What the Owner says:

It's been a great social home for us and our children especially with the 19ft kitchen/dining room, ideal for family get togethers. The area is generally very quiet and one big benefit is the low crime rate which was certainly important to us, especially with a young family. Everything you need in the village, bank, post office, takeway, as well as 2 cafes, one opening recently in the centre of the village, ideal for me to meet up with my friends for a catch up. We have been really happy here and the saying, "if we can pick it up and move it to where we are going", is certainly true for us.
