"This home has a real sense of charm, the current owners have lovingly re-decorated throughout this Victorian family home.

Characteristics include, re-fitted kitchen with butler sink, the fire places in the lounge, dining room and bedroom have also been kept, creating a real cottage feel, the he home also has an enclosed rear garden. The owner has little maintenance so more time can be spent enjoying our British summer than weeding the garden.

Hoo village itself has a wealth of amenities and an excellent public transport system with regular buses into Rochester and Chatham. Feel free to explore the historic dockyard facility, which allows you to enjoy some retail therapy or alternatively relax in a bar or restaurant overlooking the picturesque marina.

When we first started looking for properties, we found it very hard to find something that we felt was big enough and had potential in our price range, we loved this property as soon as we came through the door. We have tried to keep as many features as possible when re-decorating, we especially enjoyed bringing back to life the original flooring in the dining room. We’ve really enjoyed living in the village, I attend baby groups every week and this village definitely has a community feel!
