"It's all about location when you are looking to live on the Royal Esplanade! As the majestic road name suggests, this really is a very sought after location and when you drive along the road it is certainly not hard to understand why!
With all the houses set back over looking the sea and just a very short walk over the road to the sandy beach, this great 5 bedroom family home offers far more than just a sea view and sunny days out with a bucket and spade.
The spacious living area the house itself has to offer would be perfect for any growing family. There is a good sized living room, separate dining room and kitchen with french doors opening out to the rear garden, which is just right for keeping an eye on the children playing in on those days when they are not down the beach! Then there is also a downstairs shower room, very handy for anytime you have guests or family stay over, or for the teenage kids to use!
Then upstairs there is a great size master bedroom with sea view, along with four other good size rooms and a family bathroom.
All this and the fact that you have everything else you need all within a short walk, with the local village shops in Westgate and the train station with links into central London if you need to commute. Plus there is a good selection of local schooling from primary to secondary again within walking distance, it really is quite hard to find a reason not to view this house don't you think?!

When we moved from Essex 23 years ago into the area, we had quite a shock with the pace of life here being much calmer and with a real sense of community about it.
We love Westgate as it has a great selection of local quirky canopied shops that you just don't see these days in the high street and you can park outside them too as there are no yellow lines either.
There is also an excellent selection of private and state schools nearby and then you have a local cinema and beaches for entertainment.
As it is only us in the house now we feel the time is right to downsize a little and as we have loved our time here we fully intend to stay in the area.
