"For the first time since it was sold off plan, this 4 bed detached' Billings' house with the original layout, is available to buy on Fairby Lane. Bought new 41 years ago, this house has been a fantastic place to raise their three children. It’s on a nice and safe road which suffers little through traffic except at school times. There is multiple off road parking to front and side and a garage integral with the house.

Inside there are 2 reception rooms, a kitchen/breakfast room and a large downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor there are 4 double bedrooms and a bathroom, all off the spacious landing. The largest of the bedrooms measures 19’5” x 11’10” and could easily accommodate an en suite shower room and WC. To the rear is a reasonably spacious garden with lots of room for entertaining or children playing. The property has gas central heating and double glazed windows. It is still the original layout and has the scope for further extension and development if you wish.

It is a great place to raise a family whilst holding down jobs. In the early days the owners were able to quickly drop the kids off to Hartley Primary school which is at the end of the road and either get to Longfield station, which is 1.3 miles away, Ebbsfleet International Station approx. 4 miles providing fast trains to St or get to the M2 to Rochester or M20/A222 to Bromley every day with little trouble.

We really found this to be a fantastic location to live! Its been such an advantage to have a primary school at the end of the road as it has saved us so much time over the years and made our life much simpler. Also the fact that the Library, post office and local shops are all within a few minutes’ walk.


It is a really spacious home. For a time there was the two of us living here with an elderly parent, our 3 young children and two dogs and it still felt nice and comfortable!
