"I can only use one word to describe this house and that is ‘immaculate’. This home has definitely been loved and cherished, as over the last five years the current owners have extended and refurbished their home.

So where do I start? All the rooms have been redecorated, the windows have been replaced and a new boiler has been installed. The sitting room looks out over the front garden and has an attractive electric fire, perfect for those stormy winter nights. There is a new modern fitted kitchen, which is open planned into the second sitting room. Then you have the added benefit of the extension, which has given this house a beautiful bright dining room via the cleverly placed skylight. From here you have a view down the 120ft rear garden. Upstairs there are two bright and airy double bedrooms.

Now for outside. Well you may think that refurbishing the house would have been enough for the current owners, well you are wrong. They have re-built the garage, extended it and fitted a remote control up and over door, levelled and landscaped the gardens and built a summerhouse in the sunniest part of the garden. They have also turned the bottom 40ft into a kitchen garden, with a shed and compost heaps.

So if you are a keen gardener and want a home that you can move straight into and unpack, then this is the one for you.

What the Owner says:

What sold this property to us was the beautiful tree lined avenue. When we viewed this house it was a complete mess, but that wasn’t a problem for us as we had a vision of how nice this house could be and we loved the fact that it was very secluded.

The location was also an important factor for us as I don’t drive anymore, so having the bus stop within a five minute walk has been invaluable to me. In Hythe there are four supermarkets, lots of independent shops, coffee shops and a brilliant selection of restaurants. If you want to walk off your dinner you will love The Royal Military Canal and the seafront.
