"This home is something quite special. The well manicured cul-de-sac it sits in has a completely different feel to many of the surrounding roads.
Perhaps this is attributed to attractive houses that you'll see or maybe the smartly paved road. Whatever it is, you will notice it's not just another modern house. It was built by Pentland Homes around 2002 and Pentland are known for their particularly high standards and this home is no different.
It's constructed in a traditional way with solid brick walls separating the living spaces as opposed to wafer thin stud partition walls. You can actually relax in the lounge without having to get up every 5 minutes to tell the children to keep the noise down in their bedrooms.
In the lounge you'll also find another rarity in modern homes - an open fireplace! Christmas time will be extra special with the fire crackling away as you enjoy mulled wine and mince pies whilst watching the family open their presents.
Upstairs all the bedrooms are a very reasonable size and the bathroom and en-suite have a feeling of quality.
Outside the gardens have been well thought out. They are attractive yet wouldn't require too much effort to keep looking smart.
You're hardly overlooked in the back or the front garden giving you a great space to relax in the sunshine.

What the Owner says:

We saw the showroom house a year before we moved. It was exactly the same style as this house so when we were ready to buy we'd hardly stepped in the front door when we knew this was the house for us.

The layout works really well. Everyone has their own space which is handy when the girls are at home.

We've got the best neighbours in the world - you can't put a price on that. Every so often there's a party or barbecue. It's so friendly and a great little community. As well as the neighbours we often have plenty of wildlife visit. Bluebirds, hedgehogs and even bats have been known to frequent our garden.
