Presented to the market for the first time and requiring a little TLC is this 1950's style semi-detached family home. The property is ideally located for Erith, Barnehurst and Slade Green Mainline Stations all of which are Zone 6. There are also local schools and shops in close proximity. Offering lots of living space including to the ground floor entrance hall, two separate reception rooms and kitchen. To the first floor there are three well proportioned bedrooms and family bathroom with separate W/C. The property also benefits from off street parking via driveway, rear garden, double glazing and gas fired central heating. A copy of EPC will be available on request - EPC grade C.

Location

Northumberland Heath is more commonly referred to locally as North Heath and is often considered to be part of upper Erith. Bordered by Barnehurst, Belvedere, Bexleyheath, Slade Green and Crayford. The area now known as Northumberland Heath was originally part of the ancient Saxon manor of Earhythe or Erith as we know it today. The name means to the north of the which was the word for stream or river, presumably a tributary of the River Cray. Northumberland Heath has a variety of affordable properties to choose from keeping the housing market buoyant in this area. Much of the housing stock is Victorian with some 1940's council developments and a Cottage estate known as 'Vickers style' built for local workers in 1916. The Lesney Park conservation area is much requested along with the 'ABC' roads which are sought after due to being in the catchment area for Barnehurst Primary School and Bursted Primary School. Erith Riverside Shopping Centre located in the heart of the town with excellent transport links and ample parking. Open seven days per week and offering a wide range of local and national retailers including names like Matalan, Argos, Iceland, and Wilkinsons. The main high street in Northumberland Heath provides a variety of shops from Tesco Express, The Co-op, gift shops, post office, bakeries, cafes, banks, pet store, florist, beauty salons and newsagents. If however you really want to participate in some major retail therapy then Bluewater retail park is a short drive away and is home to some of the countries leading retailers such as Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and House of Fraser. Bluewater also boasts an array of eateries including Jamie Oliver, Browns, TGI Fridays and Nandos. Northumberland Heath and surrounding areas offer excellent transport links with mainline stations in Erith, Slade Green and Barnehurst all into central London. Travelling by car, then the A2, M25 and the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge are all nearby. Bus routes will take you into Dartford, Sidcup, Bexleyheath and Lewisham.
